We had an amazing time in Sarah's converted van. It has absolutely everything you could need, a very well stocked kitchen for cooking and all very easy to use setup for running water and power with plenty of sockets and USB ports if needed. The power and heater was reliable throughout and never ran low. The double bed and sofa are very comfy and the van is lovely and roomy with a high ceiling so no need to duck down all the time. It drives very well and didn't struggle with even steep hills in the Brecon Beacons. Sarah is lovely and picking up and dropping back the van was very easy with ample parking to leave your car if you choose to in a quiet area of Brighton. Would highly recommend and would love to hire the van again. Perfect getaway during these days of lockdown!
Firstly, for anyone who hasn't realised - this van is huge both in length and height. That means loads of room inside - I'm 184cm (6'1") and I didn't bump my head once. The length means it's a challenge to drive and park (needs nearly two car bays length) - but not nearly as bad as I expected and worth it for the accommodation. The reversing camera, willing engine, and Bluetooth stereo made the driving very enjoyable. When it comes to camping up - the bed was fine and I didn't miss the king-size I have at home. Kitchen is well thought out and has what you need. The fridge stays properly cold so food stays fresh, helped by the van being well insulated so it doesn't heat up in the sun or get cold too quickly. On a few chilly evenings the heater was very efficient and even on lowest setting didn't need to be on for long - it would have no problem in much cooler weather. I liked that there's no windows in the back - it meant better temperature control, better stealth, and that it's possible to sleep in even if the sun gets up a lot earlier than you want to. There's a good amount of light from the two roof vents, and as one has a fan these provide excellent ventilation if required (insulated blackout covers provided for when you don't want light or ventilation). The only problem I had was I found with lights, heater, laptop and a couple of things on charge in the evening the battery sometimes struggled to keep up. Perhaps I was demanding too much from it, as apparently nobody had this problem previously. Overall the accommodation feels spacious, partly because the seating is not fixed in place so can be moved around as you like. The "garage" / boot is ample size for my folding bike plus the camping table and chairs that come with the van. It's a great size because it leaves plenty of headroom above the bed but is large enough to take bigger bits of gear.

The owner Sarah is lovely and very helpful. I definitely recommend and would rent from her again. I had a lovely holiday, and Sarah just made it so easy.
