Beskrivning
Dougal is a beautiful freshly painted retro VW with some mod-cons! Originally all the way from Brazil, he was converted to a right-hand drive camper here in England. He has direct-drive power steering (rare but useful, they are heavy!) and rear parking sensors making him a dreamy drive! His water-cooled engine enables him to go for miles - so you won't be wasting precious holiday time waiting for him to cool down on the side of the road. He has brand new 17" Porsche Style wheels and a new roof rack and tow-bar. Inside he has cream leather seats with matching blue piping. He is fully equipped with gas oven, twin hob and grill, so no excuse for not cooking up a storm! The included buddy seat then enables 4 to sit comfortably around a removable table once dinner is served and additionally the drivers seat swivels giving extra room. Electrically pumped cold water and a low power fridge complete the picture and all crockery and essential cooking gear is included. Insurance and LPG gas are both included too. 4 berth - rock and roll bed 'downstairs' and 2 'upstairs' (20st weight limit) when you raise the pop top. Both are small doubles. Optional extras (subject to availability, small additional cost, please enquire) include bike rack and 2019 Driveway Awning Kela 3. Let us know if there is anything else! Please treat him as if he was your own! For anyone hiring, there will be a thorough handover (approx. 30mins) when you will be shown how to operate everything easily. We also ask you to adhere to the pick up and drop off times scheduled as far as possible, to ensure he is ready for the next renter and his owner is not waiting around/late for the next project! Deposition:

We loved taking Dougal around the lakes, dales and peaks. He was exactly what we wanted and the photos looked insane on the wedding day! Thank you so much for letting us take him.
Emma couldn't have done more for us helping to organise the trip and rent Dougal, she went above and beyond! Communication was great, handover was thorough, and she even decorated the van for our honeymoon! And as for Dougal- he was perfect. This beautiful T2 gave us the best honeymoon possible. Emma has thought of everything you could possibly need for a short trip or longer adventure and Dougal came fully equipped. This camper has so much character! Couldn't recommend Emma and Dougal any more!
We really loved our few days in Douglas. He was clean and well-equipped and had everything we needed. Emma was really helpful and all the information was instructive and easy to grasp. A great experience.
